Aaron Halon, one of the senior development directors working on the new Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, says that his entire team is made up of fans of the franchise and that means that they will never treat gamers with anything less than full respect.

He tells GameInformer that, “I mean, look, again, we’re fans. We’re really scrutinizing what we’re doing ourselves and can’t wait to show the stuff off.”

Sledgehammer Games has pledged that it will introduce some new ideas to the long-running first-person shooter series, which has annoyed some fans who believe that the formula is perfect at the moment and does not need any tweaking.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will take players past the year 2050, which means that gamers will get access to a range of advanced tech, including exoskeletons and powerful new weaponry.

The game will continue to be focused on the delivery of a solid long-term multiplayer environment, but a full-fledged single player is also in development and already has an impressive cast.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be launched on November 4 all over the world and will be available on the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4, the PC and current-gen consoles.
