Slackel KDE 4.9.2 Distribution Has Linux Kernel 3.2.29

Slackel KDE 4.9.2, a Slackware-based Linux operating system, was announced yesterday, October 30, by Dimitris Tzemos. This release brings various new features and improvements.

Slackel KDE 4.9.1 highlights:

• Linux kernel was updated to version 3.2.29;
• KDE Software Compilation was updated to version 4.9.2;
• Mozilla Firefox was updated to version 16.0.2;
• KMail, Ktorrent, Akregator, and Kopete has been updated;
• Gftp, gparted, Wicd, slapt-get and its graphical frontend Gslapt, have been updated;
• Clementine media player was updated to version 1.0.1;
• Calligra Words, Calligra Stage, Calligra Tables are the main office applications;
• Krita, Karbon, Gwenview, KColorChooser, and Ksnapshot are the main applications in the Graphics section;
• KOrganizer, KAddressBook and the Okular document viewer have been added.
