Slackel 1.0 Openbox Edition Officially Released

Dimitris Tzemos proudly announced earlier today, January 13, the immediate availability for download of the stable release of the Slackel 1.0 Openbox Edition Linux operating system.

Being powered by Linux kernel 3.7.1 and built on top of the current tree of Slackware Linux, this first edition of Slackel Openbox features the lightweight Openbox 3.5.0 window manager and a large collection of useful applications.

“A collection of two Openbox iso images are immediately available, including 32-bit and 64-bit installation images that can be burned to a CD,” said Dimitris Tzemos in the official release announcement.
