14 DAY TRIAL // Eiji Aonuma, the current overall director for the Legend of Zelda series, says that both Skyward Sword and Twilight Princess are good candidates for High Definition remakes, but that his team simply lacks the manpower to work on both projects.
Nintendo is creating an HD relaunch of Wind Waker.
The Legend of Zelda director tells Polygon that, “When we were thinking about the new Zelda for Wii U, which is something we’re actually working on, we needed to experiment with a variety of graphic styles and it was part of that process we took some existing Zelda games and made them HD just to see what would happen.”
Nintendo has worked with other Japanese developers to create ports for Ocarina of Time and Four Swords.
The company is probably waiting to see how Wind Waker HD does in terms of sales before committing resources to any other remakes.
