After owners of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on the PlayStation 3 were able to get the long awaited patch for the game yesterday, Bethesda has now confirmed that update 1.2 will arrive onto the PC and Xbox 360 platforms tomorrow, November 30.

Skyrim was hailed as one of the best games of the year after its release earlier this month, but the title wasn’t without faults, some hilarious,
like on the PC, while others were more serious, like on the Xbox 360 which displayed low resolution textures when installing the game, or on the PlayStation 3, where lag and freezes happened after the save game files reached a certain size.

Yesterday PS3 owners were able to download the long awaited update, which resolved this nasty glitch, and Bethesda has now confirmed just what’s included in the patch and when it’s going to arrive for the PC and Xbox 360 editions of the game.

Among the issues solved are dragons that wouldn’t attack players, as well as dead bodies that appeared during the wedding of the player.

Check out the full patch notes below, straight from Bethesda.

UPDATE 1.2 NOTES (all platforms unless specified)
Improved occasional performance issues resulting from long term play (PlayStation 3)
Fixed issue where textures would not properly upgrade when installed to drive (Xbox 360)
Fixed crash on startup when audio is set to sample rate other than 44100Hz (PC)
Fixed issue where projectiles did not properly fade away
Fixed occasional issue where a guest would arrive to the player's wedding dead
Dragon corpses now clean up properly
Fixed rare issue where dragons would not attack
Fixed rare NPC sleeping animation bug
Fixed rare issue with dead corpses being cleared up prematurely
Skeleton Key will now work properly if player has no lockpicks in their inventory
Fixed rare issue with renaming enchanted weapons and armor
Fixed rare issue with dragons not properly giving souls after death
ESC button can now be used to exit menus (PC)
Fixed occasional mouse sensitivity issues (PC)
General functionality fixes related to remapping buttons and controls (PC)

Skyrim update 1.2 is now live across the world for PlayStation 3 owners, while PC and Xbox 360 ones can get it tomorrow, on November 30.

I have that issue too. Can't continue with the main story line! Desperately needs to be fixed- for a game like this to have such a big bug with the main plot is ridiculous.

So, the College of Winterhold quest line is still bugged? :( I'm a redguard mage, and I wanna do Magic quests!

i dont think bethesda cares if we can play all the quests if you look at the forums there are numerous complaints about important quests not triggering or glitching and not so much as 1 respons from a bethesda employee say something like " we are aware of the issue" i think the quests are going to be ignored till they release the DLC cause they make money off the DLC and not off fixing the things they missed.

Great. I have none of the above issues (XBOX), but they don't list any of the issues I do have! Quests, that don't trigger, quest items that don't remove, quest items/quest won't progress (take ubusual item to appraiser, etc........

the PC version of this game is stock full of bugs.. f**king blows, i'd love the game.. if i could actually play it longer than 5 mins w/o running into a quest bug that ruins the rest of the quest line

i can't even play the game... from the companions quest bugs, to new bugs now with the thieve's guild quests.. seems like every time i turn around in this game there's a new bug
