A new flavor of the Skype application is now available for download for the owners of Windows Phone devices, namely version 2.4.0.108, with some appealing new features packed inside, including support for high-definition video calling.

According to Microsoft, this feature should make face-to-face video calls look much better than before, not to mention that users can now video chat both in portrait and landscape mode.

Additionally, the new application release arrives with support for both front and back cameras, which means that users will also be able to show to their friends what’s around them.

According to WMPoweruser, the new version of Skype for Windows Phone was also meant to bring back People Hub integration, a feature that was removed from it not long ago. Users should now be able to send messages or video call straight from a contract’s page. Download Skype for Windows Phone
