Microsoft has recently announced that Skype will be part of Outlook.com, but the company has refused to provide us with a potential timeline for its launch across the world.

According to a report by WinBeta, the Softies have now started the global release of Skype integration in Outlook.com, with a handful of German users getting the feature as we speak.

No official details are available for the time being, but it’s no surprise that Microsoft continues to improve Outlook.com, especially because email platform is now holding a key role in its long-term market strategy.

Basically, this new feature would allow Skype users to chat with their contacts without leaving the inbox by simply using their Microsoft accounts.

It’s all possible with the help of a plugin that works with the most popular browsers on the market, including Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Firefox.
