A new flavor of the Skype for Android 4.0 application is currently rolling out to users with a series of minor tweaks packed inside, following the release of a major update roughly a week ago.

According to Skype, the new software iteration was pushed out with enhancements based on the feedback received following the availability of said major app release, namely version 4.0.

Signing out of Skype is now easier, with the option available when hitting the Menu key, and on the Recent, Favorites, People, and Profile navigation screens.

There is also a fix for a bug that prevented users from going online or making and receiving calls “if their status was last set to offline in version 3.2 before upgrading to version 4.0.”

Video calling is enabled on all devices that could enjoy the feature in Skype 3.2, and there are also improved dialog translations for Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, and Traditional Chinese, Skype explains.

Skype for Android can be found on this page in Google Play Store, though it might not appear as updated to all users right away.
