Microsoft quietly rolls out a new Skype version for Windows

Microsoft has just unveiled a new version of its popular Skype VoIP application, but the company hasn’t provided any release notes for this build.

Skype 6.1.32.129 still works on all Windows versions, including Windows 8 in the desktop mode, and since no changelog is available, this new build is very likely to bring bug fixes and some other performance improvements.

The latest major update for Skype was rolled out approximately 10 days ago when Microsoft introduced a bunch of new features, including Outlook integration to quickly access contacts’ status and information.

No updates are available for the other platforms, but Skype is very likely to get the same improvements and bug fixes on both Mac OS X and Windows 8 anytime soon.
