Nowadays, Symantec is one of the most important security companies, being well known for its best solutions, Norton Antivirus. This antivirus solution received several awards for its features, being regarded as one of the most efficient antivirus programs on the Internet. Although the company is identified through the antivirus tool, Symantec is more than that, offering an impressive number of security solutions for multiple types of customers and needs. Because it is one of the best security companies, Symantec tries to make new partnerships to improve its solutions and add even more
functions to the products.

As you probably know, Skype is well known for its VoIP program that allows you to communicate with your friends using a single microphone and a simple Internet connection. At this time, Skype is very popular on the Internet because it provides well-developed and powerful VoIP features, helping you chat using high-quality sounds.

That's why Symantec decided to make a partnership with Skype that will produce a new security tool designed especially for small companies or home users. Probably, Skype will provide promotions or quick access to Symantec's security solution, while the other company will include Skype adverts and communication support in its products.

"Skype, the global Internet communications company, and Symantec Corp., today announced a relationship to deliver PC security solutions to small office and home office Skype users for a secure PC environment. As part of the co-marketing agreement, Skype will offer a special promotion to business users who click through Skype to a co-branded PC security information website and download Norton Internet Security and other Symantec Norton branded products," Symantec sustained in a press release published on the official page.
