Google Search is now only the fourth app in the charts

Skype continues to gain more fans on Windows 8, so the application has become the top free listing in the Windows Store, even though several top games got to see daylight lately.

As you can see for yourselves in the screenshot above, Skype is now number one, while Disney’s “Where’s My Mickey? XL” game, which is available with a freeware license for a limited period of time, is the runner-up.

Netflix reached the podium too, while Google Search, which was the top free app on Windows 8 until recently, is now fourth, but still ahead of Adobe Photoshop Express and YouTubeHD.

Seeing Skype on the top of the charts is a bit surprising given the fact that Microsoft has decided to include the app in Windows 8.1, so only Windows 8 and RT adopters are supposed to download it right now.
