Start the rumor mill!

Skype proved to be too expensive an acquisition for Ebay and they are considering selling it to the highest bidder. And who could outbid Google, especially with the new Android platform out there, ready to incorporate Skype and become perfect, no?actually, the perfect platform to deliver services?

Of course, being a rumor, no numbers have been announced but I really hope the deal will come through because it will mean free calling via grace of online ads while calling. Get your special headphones and start your mike checking, the future looks bright.

I just love such a juicy rumor in the morning, it kind of makes my day and I thrive in the anticipation of the possible confirmation. I know it won't come the very same day but I like to lie to myself and wait for it nevertheless. And this rumor is the rumor of dreams to be honest. Just think about it, think about what Android is turning into: a jack of all trades. Skype, if it goes ahead as said, potentially free spectrum - as in free calls if Google wins the bid which it said is going to enter by itself and not with a number of companies backing it up (potential sign here, nota bene!), the open sourcing and all the community behind it and some more big backers. Way to go Google! Nokia, watch out!

The rumor started spreading around London's website community and the fact that Google bases all of its mobile projects in the capital of Great Britain turns the rumor into the full of chocolate piece of cake that it is.

Grab your spoons or take it with your bare hands to let the melting chocolate drip down onto your chin and take a big bite of it. It looks like it's really going to be worth it. And for the Google stock holders out there, this should mean a sudden increase in the value of your stock. Bon appetite!
