Skype’s blog and the official social accounts of the service got hacked a couple of days ago and even though Microsoft was quick to remove the posts, the company is still working to bring back the blog online.

The Twitter and Facebook accounts have been completely restored, but Microsoft appears to be having a hard time dealing with the hack aimed at the blog after the Syrian Electronic Army posted messages telling Redmond to stop spying on users.

While Microsoft is most likely working to make the blog more secure and block any other potential attacks, the company issued a statement to confirm that its Skype accounts have indeed been hacked, but no user information was compromised.

Of course, it’s a little bit worrying to see such a tech giant getting hacked these days, but Microsoft has made it clear that beside a few posts that were removed very fast, nothing dangerous actually happened.
