Microsoft officially rolled out a new Skype version for Windows only a few hours ago, as it introduced several bug fixes supposed to make the application a bit more stable and reliable.
While Microsoft confirmed that this isn’t a major release, but only a maintenance build supposed to repair a number of reported problems, Skype 6.3 still fixes some very important bugs found in previous versions.
For example, the start screen sharing pop-up was not accessible in older Skype builds, while the tooltips were not properly displayed on monitor setups other than 32-bit.
In addition, the updated version is supposed to fix a bug that made the app freeze when opening the snapshot gallery with large amounts of pictures, as well as an issue that was hiding a part of the Call Quality Guide window.
