There is a fresh version available for Skype, which does not introduce any new features but instead fixes two call-related problems.

Skype 5.8.0.158 deals with 180° rotation of video call with Samsung Galaxy S 4G running Skype for Android. It also fixes the problem with automatically unmuting the calls that have been reconnected, despite the fact that the interface still showed mute was still applied.

Another hotfix for this version has been released back in February, fixing a crash bug and improving messaging for blocked users. You can check the changelog on this page.

The development team also released a new version for Mac systems, 5.6, which adds a slew of new features and improvements, chief among them being support for full screen mode in OS X Lion.
