The fresh 5.7 beta does not show too many modifications, but the changes are pretty important (more important than Microsoft’s first actions after the acquisition of the company).
The video call application now allows you to exchange messages with friends on Facebook straight from its interface. The social networking side of the application is further strengthened by the fact that users can make Facebook-to-Facebook video calls from within Skype.
All you have to do is connect the Skype and Facebook accounts and you’ll have a piece of Facebook inside. You can view your contacts and initiate Facebook-to-Facebook video calls from the Skype application window.
Premium subscribers get a little more pizzazz, as they benefit from group screen sharing feature.
