Some of the company’s services don’t seem to work in IE11 right now

Internet Explorer 11 is the default browser in Windows 8.1 and even though the first major Windows 8 overhaul is just around the corner, it turns out that some of Microsoft’s services do not work in this new version of the app.

The error you’re seeing above popped out when we first tried to log in to SkyDrive using Internet Explorer 11 on a Windows 8.1 RTM machine, with Microsoft telling us that upgrading the browser might be the easiest choice.

“Microsoft services are designed for you, but maybe not for your browser. Some features might not work correction with the version of the web browser you’re currently using,” the message states, with Microsoft also recommending users to switch to Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, or Apple Safari.

Truth is, some features indeed don’t seem to work correctly, as at least one of the displayed buttons isn’t rendered as it should be in Internet Explorer 11.

Sure, this is only a compatibility issue with IE11, so I’m pretty sure that Microsoft is going to fix this as soon as possible. And still, it’s pretty awkward to see this kind of problems, given the fact that the Softies are bragging all over the web that Windows 8.1 already registered 2 million downloads.
