SkyDrive, Microsoft’s cloud storage service, has a lot of great features to offer to its customers, including those owning a Mac or another Apple device.

The service was meant to provide users with fast access to important files at all times, regardless of whether on the PC, Mac, iPad or another mobile device.

Microsoft has just made SkyDrive for Mac available for download, alongside a dedicated app for its Windows platform, and it is touting the advanced sharing capabilities that users can take advantage of with it.

In the video embedded below, you can learn more on how easy SkyDrive makes it for files to be accessed from any of the aforementioned devices, as long as they have been uploaded into the cloud.

The Mac OS X app provides users with the option to save and store documents in the SkyDrive folder in Finder, so that they are at hand at all times.

Beside documents, Skydrive also offers support for photos, notes and other file types, regardless of whether they are accessed from an Apple device or a Windows PC.

Some of the main features that Microsoft’s cloud storage service has to offer to its users include: Access files and Office docs anywhere – now customers can access any file from anywhere (not just certain photos and iWork files)
