Sky+ application for Android devices has just been updated with new features and improvements.

Keep in mind that in order to fully enjoy the newly introduced features, users will need a Sky+HD compatible box connected to the same broadband network as their Android device.

First of all, the update adds a new feature called Sky Planner Management, which allows users to view and manage their Planner, book recordings and reminders, as well as delete items.

Secondly, there’s a new Remote Control function that provides users with the possibility to use the following commands: swipe to rewind and fast forward, tap to pause / play, swipe to change channels.

Sky+ 3.0.0 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.2 and up. Check it out here.
