The application is now compatible with most Android 4.2.2 devices

The controversial Sky Go application for Android devices has just been updated with support for more devices and several bug fixes.

Good news for Samsung fans as developers of the application now added the Galaxy Tab 2 (GT-P3113) and Galaxy S III mini to the list of compatible devices. In addition, Sky Go can now be installed on most devices powered by Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

According to BSkyB, battery drain issue has been resolved along with the missing downloads problem. Other bug fixes have been included in the update as well, but they have yet to be detailed.

Sky Go 3.0.1 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.2 and up. Check it out here.
