Sky TV customers who own Android devices will be happy to know the folks over at BSkyB have just updated their application with support for more smartphones and tablets.

The latest version of Sky Go for Android is now fully compatible with HTC One X+, Motorola RAZR i and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 devices.

Furthermore, the new update brings several features for Sky TV customers upgrading to Sky Go Extra, including the possibility to register up to four compatible devices and the option to watch download content anywhere, even without Wi-Fi or 3G.

Those who upgrade to Sky Go Extra will also be able to download selected On Demand content depending on their Sky TV subscription to mobiles and selected tablets.

Sky Go 3.0 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible on a range of devices running Android 2.2 and up. Check it out here.
