Before adding support for Ice Cream Sandwich devices, which is expected to happen in late July, BSkyB launched a new version of Sky Go for Android.

Sky Go 2.0 brings several new features into the mix and improves the overall performance and stability of the application. In addition, the software now features Sky Anytime+ with on demand Movies and Entertainment.

Another important addition is the ability to search the Anytime+ catalog, as well as the possibility to manage the Sky Account directly within the application itself.

Last but not least, Sky Go for Android can now be moved to an SD card. Obviously, several bug fixes have been included as well, which have yet to be detailed.

Sky Go 2.0 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.2 and up.
