Sky and UK Wi-Fi provider The Cloud have teamed up to offer the former’s customers free access to all Wi-Fi hotspots across the country.

Those who install the Android application will be required to sign in with a Sky ID in order to have access to The Cloud’s Wi-Fi hotspots.

However, once all log-in details are in order, the application will automatically connect the Android device to a Wi-Fi hotspot once in range.

In addition, users can register up to six Wi-Fi-enabled devices such as smartphones, laptops and tablets. Keep in mind that all those who connect to The Cloud’s Wi-Fi Hotspots won’t be charged for browsing the Web or getting their emails.

Sky Cloud WiFi is now available as a free download via Google Play store, and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up.
