Evernote’s Skitch application for Android devices has just received a minor update, which adds a new ability for users and some bug fixes.

For those unfamiliar with the application, Skitch allows you to annotate images with text and various symbols, such as arrows and shapes.

Basically, you will be able to visually communicate with your friends, as well as sketch new drawings, mark up maps or annotate screen captures and photos taken with the phone’s camera.

The latest version of Skitch allows users to change between auto-move and remember last tool used. The new option is now available under Settings menu. Furthermore, an unknown number of bug fixes has been included in the update as well.

Skitch 2.01 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.0 and up. Check it out here.
