Trinny Woodall, one half of the duo that, until not long ago, was teaching England how to dress for all kinds of occasions, has long been the target of speculation about an eating disorder. Since her show in the UK was canceled for poor ratings, the style guru has been working on a successful launch in the US, which, apparently, has also led to her dropping the pounds in the most worrying manner, prompting talk of anorexia or bulimia. What with her recent beach outing, all that should probably stop, the Daily Mail believes.

Woodall was spotted on a beach in the Bahamas over the weekend, working on her tan and showing off what could only be described as toned abs most men might actually kill for, as the British publication puts it in more or less words. The photos taken by the paparazzi on the occasion come to confirm that, indeed, in order to really take over America, the style guru has done more than just drop the pounds, also orienting herself towards a healthier lifestyle.

“The mother-of-one showed off her toned stomach during a trip to the beach in the Bahamas on Saturday where she is holidaying with fellow presenter Susannah Constantine and friend Tania Bryer. It is a far cry from October last year when fears were first raised about her health after she collapsed on a flight from New York which she blamed on a bad reaction to a sleeping tablet.” the Mail writes. Since that incident, rumors of her having an eating disorder only multiplied with each appearance from her, when her almost skeletal frame was constantly on display and under the microscope.

In recent months, though, Woodall has changed many things in her life in her bid to regain her health. She started with her diet, which, at one point, was said to include only one tablespoon of dried cereals or pumpkin seeds and plenty of water. She then moved on to another important element of a healthy life, that of working out, talking to specialists and hiring trainers to help her achieve her goals. From the looks of her abs, she more than did that, it is being pointed out.

“But the star has undergone a strict diet and workout regime in the past two months as she desperately tries to relaunch her career in the U.S. She has been eating a daily allowance of raw carrot batons, organic rice cakes and roasted pumpkin seeds as she attempts to stay in shape. In addition, she is known to follow a grueling exercise regime taught to her by a Russian detox doctor.” the Mail further says of the star’s regime.
