An update to Autodesk’s flagship iPad app, SketchBook Pro, aims to fix File Saving while adding a new preference for 3rd-party pens. The new release also improves the Marker brush.

A professional-grade paint and drawing application, Autodesk SketchBook Pro for iPad uses the same paint engine as its desktop counterpart, offering a complete set of sketching and painting tools via an intuitive user interface.

Currently 60% off, SketchBook Pro for iPad has been updated with a few tweaks and enhancements, including the addition of the Copic Color Library to the Color Editor. The Marker brush has been improved and there’s a new preference for 3rd-party pen support, according to Autodesk Inc.

Last but not least, SketchBook Pro for iPad fixes a File Saving bug. Users should no longer fear that they might lose their work when they exit the app.

SketchBook Pro is compatible only with the iPad and requires iOS 4.0 or later.
