14 DAY TRIAL // After yesterday's disappointing poster for “The Dark Knight Rises,” Warner Bros. is finally making an honest effort: six brand new character posters for Chris Nolan's upcoming film have been released.

Three of the set are very dramatic and somber, while the other three are muted, hazy-like almost. Only Batman, Bane and Catwoman are pictured.
If we were to choose favorites, we'd probably vote for the first 3 photos because the characters appear more menacing and there's a larger sense of danger in the pouring rain mixed with debris, presumably from the destruction of Gotham.
Snow too is pretty cool, but not as cool as debris, you have to admit.
“The Dark Knight Rises” is Chris Nolan's third and last Batman film. It will be out this summer and, so far, it had a marketing campaign that's no match for the one that preceded “The Dark Knight.”
