Keiichiro Toyama, the creator of the Silent Hill and Siren franchises, doesn't know anything about a possible Siren game for the PS4 next-gen console, although he doesn't confirm that such a project isn't in development.

Survival horror fans have praised Keiichiro Toyama for quite some time, as after creating the Silent Hill series for Namco Bandai, he then delivered the Siren series for Sony, which saw iterations on the PS2 and PS3.

Yesterday, during an announcement about the PS4, Sony mentioned in a press release a list of next-gen games, including a new Siren title.

While talking with a fan on Twitter, Keiichiro Toyama said that "I do not know anything. At least, I'm not involved at all."

As such, while the Siren project may not be masterminded by Toyama, it could still be in development at another one of Sony's internal teams.
