Singer Sir Paul McCartney revealed how a romantic date planned for his wife, Heather Mills, turned into a nightmare. Paul wanted to surprise his wife with a romantic dinner in a chauffeur-driven Rolls Royce.
So they arrived to the restaurant, took the dinner, and then got out to the car. But, unfortunately, the area was full with paparazzi and the driver couldn't get the flash car to start. So, the couple was left at the photographers mercy.
Sir Paul revealed: "We went out for a posh dinner and to surprise Heather I hired a chauffeur and a Rolls Royce.
We came out and there were paparazzi everywhere and the chauffeur was in a panic because for some reason he couldn't get it started."
Meanwhile, McCartney confessed he was helped by George Harrison's spirit to write the song and lyrics for 'Waiting For Your Friends To Go', over three years after the Beatles guitarist's death.
McCartney, 63, said he felt Harrison's spirit when he wrote the song, arguing he's unsure about the meaning of the lyrics.
"The funny thing about it was I felt as if I was almost George Harrison during the writing of that song," said McCartney.
