The forum belonging to the Singlehanded Sailing Society was breached by a cybercriminal who goes by the name of NEWBIE3viLC063S (NEC) or Joker.

As a result, the email addresses of the website's members are exposed, but luckily, the Pastebin post in which the hacker brags about his operation does not contain clear text passwords.

NEC has been keeping himself very busy lately, in the past year defacing close to 600 websites.

In the past few days, websites hosted on US, Australian and Canadian servers were all defaced by the hacker who claims to be a member of the Malaysian BlackHat Team.

“Oh! My God Admin! You Site Has Been Hacked By Joker a.k.a NEC,” reads a message on some of the defaced locations.

On other pages he wrote to the site admins telling them to hate the code, not him.
