Single at 30, Kim Kardashian Wants Somebody to Love

Not long ago, socialite turned very successful reality star and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian, was saying television has ruined her love life. In this week’s issue of People, she reveals she just wants somebody to love.

Kim’s sisters, fans must already know, Khloe and Kourtney are happy in their stable relationships – but Kim remains single, even if she once thought she’d be happily married by the time she turned 30 (which she did just recently).

However, while being single is something different for the star, it’s not necessarily a bad thing, despite the somewhat misleading caption on the cover, “I Thought I’d Be Married by Now.”

“There was at time in my life where all I wanted was a relationship and I thought that was the most important thing… Is it weird that I’m now the single one?” Kim tells the mag about her love life.

“It’s definitely a change for me. I have always been the one in a relationship. I like that role, I want that best friend partnership,” the star adds.

She’s still looking for love and hopes never to make the same mistakes she made in the past, when she was younger and less experienced, she also reveals for the publication, out on newsstands today.

Still, seeing how she reportedly has problems finding men that will go out on dates for her and not to get on camera, it may be another while until we see Kim in a wedding gown.

“It’s definitely hard to date when you live your life on a reality show. How do you say to someone, ‘Hey, are you cool with dating me on my show? Are you comfortable being on the show?’ It’s really hard,” Kim said a while back, as we also reported.

Then again, being single is not that bad, since it offers her plenty of time to think about what she wants from life (and from a partner, implicitly), while also allowing her to focus on her career for the time being.

“I’m definitely more open to dating when I’m not filming, when it’s our off season. I think I’m still trying to figure it out. That’s why I think it's probably best for me to be single right now,” she said on the same occasion.
