As Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories will take place in 1984, the games' developer decided to implement some features specific to the 80's.

I don't know for sure, I've only heard that Phil Collins was a big star in the 80's. This is always questionable, but what we can be sure of is that Phil Collins will appear in the latest installment in the GTA series, Vice City Stories. His appearance will not be a secondary one; supposedly, he will be one of the main characters of the game.

Mr Collins, instead of dropping of his grandkids to school (if he has grandkids) will be teaming up with the likes of Vic Vance, Phil Cassidy (I bet there is no intended reference to Butch Cassidy), Ricardo Diz, Reni Wassulmeier, Lance Vance and Marty Jay Williams. Phil Collins will be available only in the singleplayer campaign; no word if his character will be implemented in the multiplayer mode or not has got out.

Anyway, leaving Phil Collins aside, there are only 4 days left until the October 30 American Release of the game. If you live in Europe, you will have to wait some more, as Rockstar planned the European launch on November 3.
