14 DAY TRIAL // The picture above was posted online a day ago. By the looks of it, the lions featured in it are currently living at the Colon Zoo in Buenos Aires.
Judging by their not-so-plump figure, these big cats haven't been fed properly in quite a while.
Hence some animal lovers' starting a petition meant to compel the people in charge of running the zoo to either give the lions some food, or own up to the fact that they cannot look after them and set them free.
According to the petition, these two lions aren't the only emaciated animals living at said zoo.
“The animals inside the Colon Zoo in Buenos Aires Province are dying. This must be stopped! They have no food and are living in the worst conditions ever. This kind of cruelty is unbelivable, they take those animals from their natural environment and place them into a jail without food and water,” the petition reads.
The goal is to raise a total of 7,000 signatures. Those wishing to sign the petition and help these animals can do so here.
