Sinar is a Swiss manufacturer of photographic equipment with a solid background of more than 65 years in the industry. The company was taken over by Leica Camera AG a few weeks ago, but it still manufactures a wide range of professional products, from cameras and lenses to digital backs and color management software.

With this strategy takeover, Leica now offers a complete high-end digital camera portfolio, and with Sinar's modular system the Leica S medium format camera is now more suitable for studio, industrial, and architectural photography.

As the leading manufacturer of view camera systems for professional high-end photography, the company announced the availability of a new Sinar p MF-L adapter that will allow photographers to take advantage of the unique qualities of Sinar view cameras while using a Leica S medium format camera body.

In addition to that, Leica S camera owners will be able to use a wide range of modular accessories compatible with the Sinar System that will enhance their camera capabilities and accommodate it with the latest trends of the market.

The Sinar p MF-L adapter allows your Leica S camera to be perfectly positioned in the optical axis, allowing you to take advantage of the view camera's legendary features.

The adapter also sports a precision-engineered mounting bracket that will help you position your Leica S camera vertically or horizontally without having to remove it from the Sinar system. This can be very useful when trying to get the perfect picture framing or to reduce moirée.

Furthermore, Sinar CaptureFlow comes with fully integrated functions for Leica S, allowing you to seamlessly control the camera from your computer. The application also features a sharpness indicator that will help you get a fast and accurate focusing.

Sinar MF-L adapter (p2 and p3) for Leica S medium format camera is now available at a price of €1,590 / $2,176.
