Will Wright, best known as being the man behind the initial success of the Sims series at Electronic Arts, has announced that his next project will be called HiveMind, which will be developed by a new studio which bears the same name.

The developers claims he is creating a whole new game type, called “personal gaming”, which allows each person to have a very different experiences based upon a number of personal experiences that they choose to share with the game.

Speaking about his new project Will Wright has said, “Rather than craft a game like FarmVille for players to learn and play, we learn about you and your routines and incorporate that into a form of game play.”

It seems that HiveMind will be able to track up to 50 different characteristics for each player and create customized content taking all of them into account, pushing them towards situations where they can have the kind of fun that they appreciate in real life.

It's not clear when HiveMind will be launched on what platforms.
