Simplicity Linux, a Linux distribution based on Puppy and which uses the LXDE desktop, is now at version 13.10 Alpha.

This first development version of Simplicity Linux, 13.10 Alpha, is provided in three different formats, for Netbook, Desktop, and Media.

“Simplicity Linux 13.10 is based on Raring Puppy 3.9.9.1 by Pemasu. The kernel is 3.9.9.1, as you might guess, and it is a non PAE kernel, meaning you do not need a machine with PAE to be able to run it. The window manager is LXDE for all releases except Obsidian which uses Openbox,” reads the official post.

A complete list of changes can be found in the announcement. Download Simplicity Linux 13.10 Alpha right now from Softpedia.

Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
