I guess almost every Internet user heard of Wikipedia, the well-known online encyclopedia that provides an impressive amount of information for numerous topics from all domains. Although the founders of the service are trying to make it available in several languages, the English domain of Wikipedia contains the largest database of articles so it's obvious that most users are trying to read information in English. What about the foreign people that are not so experienced in English but they are really needing to read an article? That's why Wikipedia released a Simple edition of the service meant to provide a simple English language among with basic words and phrases. Although some of the expressions are really funny, the articles can be extremely funny for the users looking for easy to read information.

So, is it useful or not? Personally, I find this Simple edition of the online encyclopedia very useful for foreign people but it should be hardly developed if the founders are looking to make it more popular among other languages. At this time, Simple Wikipedia contains 14,402 articles in comparison with English Wikipedia that provides 1 660 140+ articles so, which one would you choose?
