Simple Tips for a Spooky, Eco-Friendly Halloween

I know, Halloween is mostly about showcasing your frightening, awesome, new costumes and receiving candies and other treats from the people who live next door.
But you might feel even better while thinking that your holiday spirit had no impact what-so-ever upon the environment.

There are only a few things actually scarier than the post-Halloween mess, when you take into consideration the pile of candy wrappers, used decorations, and all that amount of paper and plastic that will wait in line to be recycled.

The holiday is a great excuse to shop, shop and shop again and fill your community's landfill.

This year, events can follow a different path while you're trying to improve your eco-conscious conduct. Think about using an old pillowcase instead of a plastic bag while you go treat-or-tricking.

Instead of buying an expensive costume which you will probably use just one time, think about using your creativity to manufacture your own awesome outfit with fabrics you find around the house. Who said that Cat Woman can't be earth-friendly?

Expand this creative idea to decorate the entire household. You might be impressed by your talent while coming up with the most original and frightening skeletons obtained from plastic material, colored cardboard or cans.
