Simon Cowell and Carmen Electra Are Officially Dating

Simon Cowell and Carmen Electra are officially dating. Reports of them being more than just good friends emerged in February this year, and then again in September but it’s just now that Simon’s confirming them.

The media mogul made the admission during a recent interview for Ryan Seacrest, the Daily Mail reports.

While he admitted that he and Carmen were an item, he refused to confirm that she was his girlfriend. Cowell is known for being particularly wary of serious relationships.

“She's not my girlfriend. We're people who date. She's adorable, isn't she?” Simon said.

The Mail also quotes Carmen as admitting to a crush on the music mogul, after they met while she filled in on Britain’s Got Talent.

“He's so cute. He is adorable. He's actually a sweetheart... I really liked him. I think he's really cool,” the former glamour girl said.

“Now, obviously, he's in [Los Angeles] with X Factor and we started to hang out and we became friends... I think he's a great guy,” she added.

Back in September, when reports were making the rounds again that the two were dating, many skeptics thought it was just a publicity stunt to get them more press.

Even so, insiders said that Simon was completely smitten with Carmen and that he was the one who had been pursuing her since February, when they first met.

Simon has never made a secret of how much he loves a gorgeous lady on his arm, just like he’s never done it either when it comes to his unwillingness to commit.

“They were really into each other. At one point, they were talking real close, and he leaned in and kissed her. They started making out!” an insider said at the time, after seeing the two together on a dinner date.
