In a controversial move, Simon Cowell took his family on an outing at the beach in Miami, jetting from cold-ridden New York to enjoy some sunny weather. While normally that's something normal, Simon is now raising outrage at the fact that he's taking his newborn son along on his jet-set life.

Everyone knows that newborn babies are fragile and they don't fit in well with a busy life style. Doctors stress that the first six months of a baby's life he's very vulnerable and should thus be treated with care, but neither Simon nor Lauren Silverman, the baby's mother, seems to have gotten the memo.

For those that don't have babies, it's worth noting that doctors advise against taking babies on a plane at least until they're 3 months old and out in the sun until they're at least 6 months old. The reason for that is that their immune system is still developing and they might be exposed to deadly germs. Not to mention the fact that the changes in pressure could also prove harming to the infant.

But nothing seems to deter Simon Cowell from taking Lauren and baby son Eric to the beach in Miami, where he was spotted looking rather distressed in the arms of his mother, as TMZ reports.

There was indication that Simon would waste no time in jetting his son around the Globe since, just five days after Eric was born, he had already filed the papers for his passport. Eric was born in New York City but since his father is a London native, there was already a lot of travel in baby Eric's future.

It's just that no one expected him to come out on the beach at an age when most babies are bundled up in their cribs, still getting used to life outside the womb.
