The two celebrities seem to have buried the hatchet

It was a surprise move for everyone when it was announced that Cheryl Cole was being considered to make a return as a judge on the British version of the talent show X Factor.

The shocking part was due to the fact that Cheryl had previously been featured on the show but was dismissed without given many explanations, a fact which turned her and producer Simon Cowell into enemies.

Now it looks as though the tables have turned, as Cheryl has already confirmed she will return to X Factor. Now she opens up about what made her change her mind. She tells Daybreak that she did it because of Simon's “begging” and because “it's not nice to see a grown man cry.”

“There's only so much begging one can take,” Cole joked in her interview, “so I finally succumbed.” This means that the usually cocky and brazen Cowell was put in the unfamiliar position of asking nicely and even begging, if we're to believe Cheryl's mean quips.

However, it might turn out that this new partnership be in both their benefits, as Cheryl's career has sort of fizzled out at the moment, so a bit of time in the spotlight will surely do her good.
