After an offline period, Electronic Arts and Maxis have finally released patch 2.0 for SimCity. Sadly, the new update causes quite a lot of different bugs, including glitches with the sewage or taxis, not to mention freezes during the loading screen.

SimCity appeared back in March and caused a wide array of problems for publisher EA and developer Maxis, as the game's online servers, on which it depends to actually run, couldn't handle the huge number of players.

Now, the two companies have just unleashed a fresh update for the game, in the form of patch 2.0, which was supposed to fix plenty of issues.

Sadly, according to the EA forums, plenty of new bugs have popped up. These include issues with sewage overflow or with many taxis flooding the streets of the city. There are also much more serious problems, like freezes in the loading screen.

As of yet, Electronic Arts hasn't commented on these new problems caused by SimCity update 2.0.
