14 DAY TRIAL // The teams at developer Maxis and publisher Electronic Arts are partnering with Nissan to launch a free piece of downloadable content for SimCity, allowing players to create a charging station for the Leaf that will deliver a happiness boost for nearby businesses and to every citizen that uses it.
Gamers need to visit a dedicated Origin page in order to get access to the Nissan Leaf Charging Station and they will then be free to use it in their cities.
The new building does not use power, water or workers and produces no garbage and will only charge electric cars driven by citizens with a high income.
The promotional offer for the Leaf charging station lasts for six months.
Maxis is aware that there’s a problem with the text associated with the new DLC building and gamers need to modify their lighting settings to Low, Medium, High, or Ultra.
