Video game publisher Electronic Arts announces that it will launch SimCity on March 8, 2013 on the PC, both for Windows and Mac operating systems.

The official description from the company states, “This is a new SimCity that offers a deeper, richer game than ever before. It has been built from the ground up to be an online connected experience, with the new GlassBox engine driving the most authentic simulation ever seen.”

The age rating for the new SimCity is 7, which means that all members of the family can play it without any worries over content.

The rebooted SimCity will ask players to create their city from scratch and this time around they will be surrounded by neighbors that they need to work with in order to make sure that they all progress and create complex projects that benefit them all.

The new GlassBox engine will create a more beautiful game experience, while also introducing more options, like curved roads.
