Silvio Berlusconi wants to put some more pressure on Juventus Turin. Although the "Old Lady" is one step away from a disaster hard to imagine a few months ago, Berlusconi, the Milan boss, wants to pressure the judges that are taking care of the "Juve" case.
As a consequence, after losing of Serie A title this year became official on Sunday - due to Juve`s win at Reggina 2-0 - the Italian ex-prime minister "let the dogs out" against Juventus: "The Italian Football Federation should give us the last 2 Serie
A titles back. The titles were not corectly won by those thieves, and justice should be made once and for all. We`re getting tired of being ripped off".
After the latest scandal in the Serie A, a lot has been written about the Juve officials. Most of them are being accused in sports and judiciary Courts. Moggi and Giraudo could be found guilty for game fraud and securing "benefic" refereeing for Juve, as well as kidnapping in a transfer case.
Moggi already quit from Juventus yesterday, saying that: "from now on, football is something that I will never come across in my whole life". The Juventus Triade is also being accused of forcing Italy coach Marcello Lippi to take on the national team players under contract with the management firm of Moggi`s son, Alesandro.
What is clearly a fact in this corruption scandal all over Serie A is that every day brings something new to the public eye. It`s not impossible to find out that other clubs are involved in this business. Not far from last week, a piece of news appeared, saying that Romanian defender Vali Nastase, from Bologna, was also "kind of" involved. Considered a main threat for Juve, Nastase got a yellow card from a corrupt referee in a match against Brescia, in order for him to miss the Bologna - Juventus clash. What will come out this week, we`ll never know. I doubt, though, that things will stay the way they are now.
