Microsoft has made available additional content for Windows Vista Ultimate DreamScene. The new materials made available for download only come to emphasize Microsoft's increasing commitment to user experience. In this context, the Redmond Company is offering for your desktop pleasure the "Dusk" video wallpaper designed to integrate with the DreamScene technology in Windows Vista Ultimate.

"In celebration of Silverlight at MIX07 this week (and the upcoming launch of their new website) - the wonderful folks on the Silverlight Team have released a slick looking new DreamScene for your Windows Vista Ultimate desktop. (...) I'm giving you a sneak peek at the DreamScenes," revealed Brandon LeBlanc, Microsoft vendor for the Windows Experience Blog.

The Redmond Company will also make available the downloads via a new Silverlight website that will be launched later today. LeBlanc mentioned the celebration of Silverlight at MIX07. And in fact, Silverlight, the new cross-platform cross-browser browser plug-in, is what Microsoft's MIX07 will focus on. By comparison, MIX06 was centered around Internet Explorer 7. However, IE8 will get little play this year, as Microsoft has announced that it is not prepared to discuses details about the next release of Internet Explorer 7.

Here are two links that will enable you to download the Dusk DreamScene in the Standard and Widescreen formats: Download: Microsoft Silverlight "Dusk" DreamScene (Standard), Download: Microsoft Silverlight "Dusk" DreamScene (Widescreen), courtesy of Brandon LeBlanc (simply right click and select Save As).
