Coming to offer some variety on a market more or less crowded with new graphics cards, SilverStone has developed a new small form factor case based on two of its more popular, previous products.

SilverStone is one of those companies that has been on the market for computer cases for a long time, so it already has a sizable product portfolio.

It basically has enclosures for all sorts of desktops, some of which can even be seen as fairly unusual, like the Raven 2 Evolution which, despite the name, is colored immaculate white.

Now, the company has stepped forth and officially announced that, starting Friday (March 18), its newest small form factor enclosure will be on sale.

The item is part of the Grandia collection and is dubbed GD06, with a design based on the GF04 and GD05, which it will succeed.

It measures 440 (W) x 150 (H) x 340 (D) mm, meaning that it can house micro ATX, mini-DTX and mini-ITX motherboards.

Being built out of 0.8 SECC aluminum, it is neither overly heavy nor light, as, along with all its accessories, weighs a total of 5.6kg.

Speaking of accessories, there are three fans, with diameter of 120 mm and rotary speed of 1,200 RPM (rotations per minute). Two are on the right side, while the third is on the left.

The fans come in addition to enough room for either four 3.5-inch and one 2.5-inch storage units, or two 2.5-inch drives and three 3.5-inch ones.

Finally, a front-placed I/O panel has audio ports and two USB 3.0 connectors, while a 5.35-inch exposed bay makes sure a DVD or Blu-ray unit can be added.

SilverStone's newest HTPC-intended product is coated black and can fit video cards of up to 11 inches in length inside of it. The price is of 120.30 Euro.
