While Sharon Osbourne is happy that she finally got her breast implants out, one woman in Moscow, Russia, is definitely grateful she kept hers. Had it not been for her implant, she might have been killed when her husband stabbed her.

Gather reports that the woman got the breast augmentation as a present from her husband – the same one that stabbed her, aiming for her heart.

Because she thought bigger would be better, she chose big implants, which, says the e-zine, is probably what saved her life. Again, one more reason to be grateful.

“Pravda reports that an unidentified woman was attacked by her husband with a knife after an argument. Instead of the blade stabbing her in the heart, as apparently the enraged man intended, her silicone implant deflected the blade, saving her from bleeding to death,” the e-zine reports.

The woman, who remains unidentified in the press, was immediately rushed to the hospital and she is expected to make a full recovery.

The implant was so big that it didn’t even leak when the husband pierced it with the knife, thinking he was going for his wife’s heart.

The husband may be liable for charges, but the report doesn’t say anything about that.

After she was discarded from the hospital, the woman had to have her implants replaced.

“Recently, the woman returned to the clinic where she had the original breast implant procedure and was given a new one. Hopefully she will never have to rely on it to protect her from another enraged knife lunge from her husband,” Gather says.

As noted above, Sharon Osbourne wasn’t so lucky with her implants. Fortunately, she wasn’t stabbed, but one of them did leak into her stomach wall and she had to have it removed, as we also informed you earlier today.

The television personality made the revelation hours ago, saying she’d never felt happier with her body, now that she doesn’t have a “waterbed” on her chest all the time.

The woman in Moscow would probably disagree.
