Even though DRAM has been getting cheaper every month, makers of memory modules still have no qualms about releasing new products, and Silicon Power has just announced its completion of a 4GB module that will be available standalone, as well as in dual-channel and in triple-channel kits.

This newest module of 4GB is created based on a 256Mx8 configuration and utilizes unbuffered DDR3 ECC memory.

It is a 240Pin Long-DIMM or So-DIMM and has an operating clock of 1,333 MHz, as well as a latency of 9 and a voltage of 1.5V.

What's more, it employs the On-DIE Termination (ODT) technology, which lowers unwanted reflection signals and boosts speed rate.

The dual-channel kit, being composed of two modules, has a capacity of, obviously, 8 GB, whereas the triple-channel solutions is of a full 12 GB.

“Silicon Power DDR3 large-capacity series are perfect for Windows 7 64 bits. With such combination, end-users may open numerous programs simultaneously,” states the official announcement.

“Even if your computer operates overtime with power-consuming editing / gaming programs, you may still experience the ultimate enjoyment of ultra high-speed and outstanding performance,” the release adds.

The Silicon power DDR3 products comply with JEDEC standards and their fly-by topology design makes commands, addresses, clock signals and control signals more efficient.

They are also “100% tested” in order to guarantee high compatibility, durability, stability and, of course, performance.

The module and kits are fully compatible with the high-end processors running rampant on today's market, including those form Intel's Core Series and AMD's AM3 line.

“With such combination, end-users may open numerous programs simultaneously. Even if your computer operates overtime with power-consuming editing / gaming programs, you may still experience the ultimate enjoyment of ultra high-speed and outstanding performance,” states the announcement.
