Silicon Power did not exactly launch a new flash drive unit, but it still decided to issue an announcement about new color options for the LuxMini 720 flash drive.

The new models are colored Peach, Bronze and Deep Blue and are supposed to “represent consumers' individualities through the language of design.”

LuxMini 720 is a small drive with aluminum casing and RoHS compliance.

It is Plug-and-Play-ready and can be attached to a key chain or necklace as well.

Also, the size is of 54.6 x 16.8 x 7.2 mm, or 2.14 x 0.66 x 0.28 inches, while the weight of 10 grams hardly registers when picked up.

Storage capacities range from 4 GB to 32 GB and, though some may be slightly disappointed, USB 3.0 is not supported.

On the bright side, the list of compatible operating systems is extensive (Windows Vista, WinXP, Win2000, WinME, Win98, Mac OS 9.0 & higher, Linux 2.4.0).

Alas, the prices were not mentioned, but they shouldn't be too high.
